Ok... a LOT has happened since I last posted anything. It's been a LONG time... but here are the highlights.

Adam Wiseman joined Alexis and Matt's little family in March of 2010. They have since moved from California to Utah and have been super busy with Alivia and Adam. And Matt is getting ready to attend Physical Therapy School. We are so excited they are closer to us!

Drew married Megan Reynolds in October of 2010. We are so excited to have her part of the family. She fits rights in and it feels like she's been a Baumgartner forever. Drew and Megan live in Utah and will both be attending medical school after graduating from BYU. Go Cougars!

Kyler is now 14... it's hard to believe he's getting so old. It makes Rog and I feel like we are super old. He is super active playing tennis, participating in football and track, and has a ton of friends. He's a great kid...

As soon as I have new pics, I'll post. I may not post a ton, but I'll try to do it more than once a year!

Mexico!

Ok... This post might be a little long, but you won't want to miss the pictures below! Rog and I spent a week with some great friends in Cozumel. They are all divers so Rog got certified and I just came to soak up the sun. My favorite event was spending time with an orphanage and we were able to attend the LDS church in Cozumel. It was an awesome experience to help children and then listen to the local people talk about how grateful they are for their families. Here are the pictures:

This is the view from the inside of the condo. It was so peaceful and we spent the nights laughing together in this very spot.

This is a shot of the blue/green water. The dive boat came and picked everyone up at a dock close to the hotel and I spent the days at the side of the pool.

Here we are with our friends the Gouberts and Ingersolls. We had just hung pictures up in this house. Maria and Elias were the cutest kids!

This is our little friend Florisita. She was at the orphanage campus and one of the sweetest children I have ever met.

Daniella was quite the charmer. She talked so fast we couldn't really understand her. But Rog and I really wanted to bring her home with us.

Our favorite lunch place. I'm not sure what look Rob (in the blue shirt) is giving us. But the guys hated the pictures.

The guys after they did a night dive. They wanted to catch a lobster and cook it for dinner, but we knew they would never actually catch it.

We met a great young man in the market and then found out he was LDS. He went to the same ward that we attended on Sunday. His name is Carlos and he is excited to get his education at BYU some day. Go Cougars!

Another pose shot at La Choza. A great local restaurant. We found out on this trip that Eric likes Linda's soft hair, Rog is a pot stirrer, Rob likes to catch seafood to cook and the ladies are pretty much normal.

Our Christmas Eve tradition...
We have a tradition on Christmas Eve to go hand out gloves to the homeless downtown. Rog came up with this idea about 5 years ago and we have been doing it ever since. It is great to see them put on warm gloves as it is so cold outside. Rog will not let us just hand them out, we spend time talking to them and finding out a little about them. It has made us so much more appreciative of our many blessings and we are so happy to help in a small way.

Here are a few new family photos. This cute girl in Utah who takes fantastic family photos took these.

This has to be the cutest baby ever!!! I am partial, but she is definitely one of the cutest babies I've ever seen. Just like her mom!

This is the only picture that doesn't make me look like I'm 100 years old. I love Roger's smile and his cool glasses.

Kyler is extremely photogenic. He looks great in all his pictures. He's really grown up a lot this year!

Ok... Even though I don't have any pictures, I thought I should update everyone on what is going on with the Baums. High points of November.... we finished decorating for Christmas, Kyler has a new tennis coach (and he is really good), Drew is doing awesome on his mission and loves the people of Roseville, CA, Alexis and Matt are doing great in Utah with the cutest baby ever, Alivia and Rog is winning lots of tennis tournaments and is getting certified to scuba dive. I know this is a small sampling of the many events that occurred during the busy lives of the Baums (not really, our lives are pretty boring according to Kyler), but this is all you are getting after a very tough BYU loss to the UTES. Watch out next year big red!!!

Tennis Academy

Kyler went to a tennis academy in California last week. It is an awesome academy with great players. Rog and I were able to go with him to spend some nice time in the sun.

What's up with the B's

Ok... So a lot has happened over the last couple weeks. Here's a sample of what has been going on with the Baums...

Kyler BEFORE braces... The Orthodontist just said, "Wow", when she saw his x-rays. Teeth were all over everywhere!

Here is Kyler being worked on. You can see that he has his cell phone in his hand. You will notice that he is taking his picture. He's definitely NOT camera shy!

The deed is done! He has braces. Now we are waiting for about 8, yes that is 8, teeth to grow in before the real work starts.

We spent last weekend with Matt, Alexis and Alivia. It was a great weekend. Conference was wonderful. We are in one of Alexis and Matt's favorite places in Orem, Hello Yogurt.

Kyler got his hair colored a little. I think it kind of looks like a skunk, but he loves it.

We had a fun day out with the girls. Alexis and I took my niece, Bailee, out for a pedicure and shopping. A fun day was had by all!

We had a blast with the Jordan and Wiseman families over Labor Day weekend! There was fun for all on the lake, at the Denver Aquarium, tennis, going to the park and chillin' at home watching the US Open and the BYU games.

Kyler had a fun day on Saturday going boating with his friends for his birthday. Of course, we forgot the camera on the boat, so we told the kids we would take them next week and I'll remember the camera. He was also ordained a deacon today and sang all of the Articles of Faith songs as a solo. What an exciting weekend for the little Ky boy!

Kyler is now a big 12 year old. He will finally be a deacon. He couldn't be more excited. Our celebration was small this year because there are only three of us. His real party is Saturday with his friends out on the lake. How nice it would be to be 12 again...

Saturday we went whitewater rafting on the Arkansas River. It was raining and cold, but we had a blast! We started out the day on class 1 and 2 and ended the afternoon on class 3 and 4 rapids. They are bigger with more drops. We almost lost Ky on one drop, but due to our vigilant guide, he was kept safe in the raft with the rest of us. I especially liked the rain ponchos they gave us that smelled like a locker room. You can guess that we had to take a LONG shower after that. I know there is only one picture, but one of our group members said that we would not be able to take the camera on the raft... WRONG!

Kyler went with the big group this year to New York. It was great! In these pictures we were helping a group in Queens with a huge service project, sang at Lincoln Plaza and performed for a Veterans hospital. What an honor!

Here are the kids on the "Early Show" with the cast from Xanadu. Kyler got a great shot with one of the show hosts, Harry Smith who is from Colorado. Kyler loved the Statue of Liberty!

Kyler's Bahamas Trip!!

Kyler went to the Bahamas with his performing team! He had a blast. They sang on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and for a school in the Bahamas which made them think about how blessed they are to live in the USA. Kyler was awesome!

The Past Few Weeks!

Alexis, Matt and Alivia at Graduation. I think Alivia gets the "best baby in class" award for going to class for the past 9 months. Of course, she was not actually attending on her own, but she was there so it counts. We are so proud of both of them!!!

Kyler is ready to go to college already. He wants to be a doctor so he'll be there a LONG time...

Alexis' Shower

It was great fun last Saturday, March 22, seeing Alexis with her friends and family to celebrate the coming of her little one. A great time was had by all!!!

My aunts and cousins came to the shower. Micah gave birth to her new little boy Monday, March 17. She looks great and didn't even look like she had just had a baby. Not fair!

Kyler decided he wanted to run for Student Council President. He only lost by 10 votes. It was probably appropriate that a 6th grader got it instead of Kyler who is in 5th grade. But he did an awesome job running... He was selected class representative and has decided that he wants a career in politics. Ugh!

Rog took the boys to the Rockies play off games. It's amazing that they were there on the very night that they won the play-offs and went into the World Series! Way cool!!
